Enter the world of gracious, friendly living. This 1820 renovated Brick Federal is nestled serenely overlooking a reflection pond, lush flower gardens and gently rolling fields. Tranquility abounds.
Upon arrival, your hosts Richard and Lilias, will greet you with a refreshing beverage, homemade snacks and friendly hospitality.
All rooms are furnished with antiques and crisp linens to make your night’s stay a truly unique experience. We offer four spacious rooms, all with private baths, three with Jacuzzi tubs. Two bedroom suites offer private sitting areas and additional sleeping space. Guests are invited to enjoy our large porches and take a quiet stroll through our gardens.
A trip to our basement is a must. During renovation, it was discovered that the walls were a unique display of stones with 400 million year old fossils. Cornell University Paleontologists have documented their age and authenticity and participated in a documentary with national HGTV “If Walls Could Talk.” The video is available for viewing. Also discovered were 2 trap doors and a tunnel; because of the proximity of the Harriett Tubman home (6 miles) it is presumed to be one of the Underground Railroad homes.
Wake up to the aroma of fresh coffee and homemade breads (our cinnamon buns are the best), homemade jellies, juice, fresh fruit and assorted scrumptious hot entrees, served in our cozy candle-lit dining room or front porch.
After you have settled into your home away from home, take time to visit our local wineries along the Cayuga Wine Trail, MacKenzie Childs Pottery, Wells College, Skaneateles Lake, Willard Chapel, Harriett Tubman House, Seward House, Case Research Lab or the State Parks…all only minutes away!
Later on relax and enjoy a family style dinner offered upon request. Then take a walk or jog through the beautiful country side. There are 3 Finger Lakes in the area with sunsets that are unbelievable. There is ample parking, so bring your boat, kayak, or canoe, and enjoy an leisurely afternoon on the water.

Rates include lodging and a full country breakfast featuring homemade breads and sweet rolls. Refreshments upon arrival and drinks and refreshments available in guest kitchen. High tea, is available to guests and the public, at an additional charge, from 1:00 until 5:00pm. This service includes tea, fresh fruit, breads, sandwiches, entree, and dessert.

48 hour notice before scheduled date will receive a full refund. With notice less than 48 hours, we will do our best to fill your reservation, which would result in a full refund minus a $10 service charge. This policy also applies to any changes in check-in or check-out dates.
